Caribbean Racing with "The Project"
Come and join us on board "The Project" to experience some of the 2020 Caribbean Racing Season for yourself.
This season we are offering full-boat Caribbean Racing Charters on board a Sigma 38, for a maximum of 8 people.
"The Project", our Sigma 38, is a fabulously maintained Racer-Cruiser. She is kitted out with a brand new suit of race sails and safety gear as well as all the instruments you could hope for!
Designed as a safe Offshore Racer, she goes extremely well in the wild seas and steady tradewinds of the Caribbean.

All sailors are welcome to join us - whether or not you have any racing experience.
On board, you will become a fully active member of our crew, guided by our professional skipper and crew.
Before every event, we schedule a training day or two which will help prepare you for the race and allow you to get to know our crew. Our preparations include getting you familiar with the intimate workings of the boat, the subtleties of sail trim, general procedures at mark roundings and techniques and tactics for a fun, fast trip around the course!

Barbados Sailing Week
17h - 23th January, 2023
A great regatta consisting of 3 days of coastal racing in Barbados' crystal clear water and steady tradewinds. After a day to recover there is the famous Round the Island Race
There is some great racing to be had in the birth place of rum and some fantastic after-parties too!
Grenada Sailing Week
27th - 31st January, 2023
A fantastic week of fast-paced racing along the west and south coasts of Grenada. A unique race week where half of the week is spent racing on the calmer west coast and then, after a transition race, the other half is held in on the wild south coast.
RORC Caribbean 600
22nd -28th February, 2023
The prestigious race around the islands in the Caribbean! The RORC 600 is an offshore race threading its way through the Caribbean Island Chain. Although you will be relatively close to shore at all times, the strong trade winds and big seas will provide plenty of excitement!
St Maarten Heineken Regatta
1st - 6th March, 2023
This four day regatta takes place in the Dutch side of the island and boasts being the largest warm water regatta in the world! It is a wonderful combination of challenging races and fantastic parties!
St. Thomas International Regatta
23th - 26th March, 2023
Claiming to be the "Crown Jewel of Caribbean Racing", this three-day regatta is a spectacular event!
It takes place in the beautiful island of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and boasts some of the best sailing conditions in the world.
BVI Spring Regatta
28th March - 3rdApril, 2023
This week-long regatta takes you through the stunning islands of the British Virgin Islands. It starts off with the two-day warm-up racing in the Sailing Festival and later moves on to the more serious three-day main event.
Antigua Sailing Week
28th April - 5st May, 2023
One of the largest and most exciting regattas in the Caribbean. It is an amazing regatta with extremely competitive racing and world-famous after-parties!
What's Included in a Racing Charter on "The Project"?
Besides the boat, all Racing Charters include our professional racing skipper, Andy Budgen and one crew member.
Our crew have great local knowledge of the areas we will be racing in which comes in very handy for making good tactical calls on the race course.
What's not included...
We do not include flights to the destination or accommodation at the regatta.
However, we are happy to help with costing and details of flights as well as give recommendations for accommodation at the venue.
The charterer is also expected to cover the following:
- Regatta Entry Fee
- Berthing, electricity and water costs
