Grenada Sailing Week
The Grenada Sailing Week is great fun for those wanting to participate in some close handicapped racing as well as explore the Spice Isle of the Caribbean.
"The Project" is being offered for charter as a skippered whole boat charter for the entire week.
Grenada Sailing Week is an up-and-coming regatta in the Caribbean and promises four days of great racing for those who come! There is also plenty of time to explore this rugged country, known for its nutmegs and other beautiful-smelling spices!
There are two parts to this regatta.
The regatta opens in Port Louis Marina on the West Coast of the island and racing starts out in the beautiful Grand Anse Bay. Here the water is flat and the wind often light and shifty making the racing extremely tactical.
On the third day of racing, boats take part in a transition race around Point Saline, the corner of the island, to the mysterious South Coast. Here the wind is stronger and the waves larger making for very exciting conditions. Racing continues here on the fourth day and the regatta is wrapped up in Secret Harbour Marina.
